Profile:
Dr Francis Chu is a Hepatobilliary and General Surgeon with over 10 years of experience in the St George and Sutherland Shire. He specialises in the Laparoscopic management of complicated gallbladder disease and abdominal wall hernias.
Dr Chu has a special interest in the comprehensive management of primary and metastatic cancer in the liver.
Dr Chu is a founding member of the St George Hospital Hepatoma Clinic and has performed over 700 liver resections with minimally invasive techniques as well as using surgical adjuncts to reduce blood loss and improve morbidity/mortality.
He is a working member of the NSW Cancer Institute Hepatocellular Cancer Committee.
